Jason - Main Wedding DJ / Owner
Hello, my name is Jason. I’ve been DJing and producing music for over 20 years, with more than a decade of professional experience specializing in weddings. In 2016, I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Findlay with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science—but music has always been far more than a side hustle for me.
I’m the proud owner of Jason Kent Sound & Lighting, and I take great pride in my reputation for creating unforgettable celebrations. My goal is simple: to make sure everyone at your reception has an incredible time while keeping the night stress-free for you. I work closely with couples and vendors to coordinate the flow of the reception, so you can relax, mingle, and enjoy every moment.
Music is my first love, my passion, and my career. In the early 2000s, I started producing music and working with artists in my area, releasing mixtapes and underground CDs that built a solid fan base. That eventually landed me an internship with Toledo's own 92.5 Kiss FM where I produced a theme song for their popular evening show "Kramer at Night". I’ve had the privilege of opening for national acts like Twista, The Ying Yang Twins, G-Unit, Jadakiss, CeeLo, and Trina, and my music received regional radio play on Toledo’s 92.5 Kiss FM, 107.3 WJUC, Detroit’s WJLB, and Columbus’ Power 107. I also worked in the recording studio with some notable artists, one being the late, great DJ Unk (Best known for the songs "Two Step" and "Walk it Out"). Later, I began producing the "5 O'clock Rewind Remix" DJ mixshow for 93.9 KISS FM in Lima along side DJ Old Skool.
DJing runs in the family—my father was a wedding DJ for over 25 years, and I was fortunate to learn the craft from him. Today, I combine that foundation with a modern approach: I stay on top of current trends while also knowing the timeless classics that will keep your dance floor full.
My team is made up of DJs I’ve known and respected for years—talented professionals I truly look up to. In fact, I only bring on DJs I consider better than myself, because I want to ensure you’re getting the absolute best.

Josh - Wedding DJ / Nightclub DJ
One of our most requested DJs, Josh — better known as DJ Smooth — has been mastering his craft since he was 15. Inspired and trained by his father, he grew up behind the decks and quickly developed a true performer’s instinct.
Josh has rocked everything from college parties and club residencies to weddings and large-scale events. He’s also held residencies at several popular venues in the Toledo and Findlay area and was the official DJ for Tiffin University football games.
What really sets Josh apart is his ability to mix and scratch with precision and creativity, while knowing exactly when to let a moment breathe — whether it’s a couple’s first dance or a packed dance floor that just needs a perfectly timed drop. His seamless transitions and read of the crowd keep energy high and guests engaged all night long.

Taj - Wedding DJ / Twitch Live Stream DJ
Another one of our most requested DJs, Taj — also known as DJ Sabotaj — brings unmatched energy and versatility to every event. He’s proudly known as Dave Chappelle’s go-to DJ for private events here in Ohio and is currently a finalist in LimaOhio.com’s 2025 “Best of Region” DJ category, with winners to be announced this November.
Taj began DJing in 2003, cutting his teeth in nightclubs and bars before becoming a highly sought-after entertainer for weddings and corporate events. His talent and dedication even landed him a feature in The Lima News segment “Spinning the Platters.”
Taj’s music range is as dynamic as his personality — from Bach to rock, hip-hop to EDM, and everything in between. His ability to blend genres seamlessly keeps every dance floor moving. During lockdown, he took his performance online, building a strong following on Twitch through his live interactive sets.
Whether he’s behind the decks at an upscale wedding or spinning for a high-profile event, DJ Sabotaj knows how to read the room, set the tone, and deliver a show that feels as good as it sounds.

Charles - Officiant / Wedding DJ / Radio DJ
A true entertainer through and through, Charles — better known as DJ C Rob (AKA DJ Old Skool) — brings over 20 years of experience to the turntables. A Columbus, Ohio native, Charles has a one-of-a-kind style he calls “out there” — blending everything from house and country to top 40 and hip-hop. His secret? Knowing exactly how to read the room and deliver the perfect beat for the moment.
DJ C Rob performs at more than 50 events each year and has an impressive background in radio, formerly hosting shows on 93.9 Kiss FM (Lima) and 106.7 The Beat (Columbus). He currently keeps the airwaves alive as an on-air personality with Y105 in Mansfield.

DJ Gil Diaz - Wedding DJ / Corporate Event DJ
Gil Diaz has been DJing for over 30 years and is the father and mentor of our longtime DJ, Josh Diaz. Gil started out rocking bars and clubs in his early years, then transitioned into weddings, private parties, and community events. An open-format DJ with a love for Country and early 2000's music, Gil can seamlessly mix across genres to keep the dance floor moving for any crowd. Known for his smooth mic presence and ability to engage guests, he brings both experience and energy to every event. With decades of expertise and a true passion for music, Gil continues to set the standard for what it means to be a professional DJ.
