Formerly Syndigital Media and Sound based in Findlay Ohio, we have relocated to Perrysburg / Toledo and we are well known in both areas for delivering awesome customer service and more importantly keeping the dance floor packed and the night fun! In fact we do not have anything less than FIVE STARS! We are also a 2019 and 2020 recipient of The Knot Best of Weddings Award. Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to some REAL DJ's. ALL of our DJ's mix on-the-spot at your event and use real turntables, or professional Pioneer DJ Controllers to mix your music while you dance the night away! Most "DJs" who specialize in weddings in our area are salesmen, marketers, or just guys that have big sound systems. WE ARE THE REAL THING! All of us have had nightclub residencies (in the golden era of 2005 until 2018), radio mix shows, been the DJ at college parties, and have opened up for major artists such as Dave Chappelle, Twista, G-Unit and J Michael Phillips (Yelawolf's artist).
We love to show off our skills! We're one of the three or four REAL DJ services in the area that can do this! Combine this with proper mic etiquette and event coordination and you have an award-winning DJ service! These mixes are not personalized to your event, they are songs that we found over the years to have an awesome response at events. Music is subjective, customer service and satisfaction are not!

Hello, my name is Jason. I’ve been DJing and producing music for over 20 years, with more than a decade of professional experience specializing in weddings. In 2016, I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Findlay with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science—but music has always been far more than a side hustle for me.
I’m the proud owner of Jason Kent Sound & Lighting, and I take great pride in my reputation for creating unforgettable celebrations. My goal is simple: to make sure everyone at your reception has an incredible time while keeping the night stress-free for you. I work closely with couples and vendors to coordinate the flow of the reception, so you can relax, mingle, and enjoy every moment.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working locally with 92.5 Toledo and collaborating on mix shows with DJ Old Skool on 93.9 Lima. I’ve also recorded and produced music for notable artists you’ve probably heard on the radio (I’ll happily share more during our consultation). Music is my first love, my passion, and my career.
DJing runs in the family—my father was a wedding DJ for over 25 years, and I was fortunate to learn the craft from him. Today, I combine that foundation with a modern approach: I stay on top of current trends while also knowing the timeless classics that will keep your dance floor full.
My team is made up of DJs I’ve known and respected for years—talented professionals I truly look up to. In fact, I only bring on DJs I consider better than myself, because I want to ensure you’re getting the absolute best.

Josh - Wedding DJ / Nightclub DJ
This is one of our most requested DJs! Josh (DJ Smooth) has been DJing since he was 15 years old. His dad taught him at a young age and was his inspiration. He DJs a variety of events ranging from birthday/house parties, college/fraternity events, and weddings. He is also a resident DJ at a a couple of popular establishments and formerly the official DJ for Tiffin University football games. Josh is probably our best scratch DJ when it comes to working the 1’s and 2’s. He has over ten years of wedding reception experience, and is sure to deliver a superb performance on your special day! Josh is also a distributor at Herbalife.

Taj - Wedding DJ / Twitch Live Stream DJ
Another one of our most requested DJs! Taj is Dave Chappelle's (comedian and actor) go-to DJ for events here in Ohio. Taj is also a current finalist in LimaOhio.com's 2025 "Best of Region" DJ category with the winner being announced in Novemeber! Taj (DJ Sabotaj) has been DJing since 2003. He focused on night-clubs and bars early on, but graduated to weddings and corporate events not long after. He has been featured in a Lima News spot called "Spinning the Platters". Taj plays everything from Bach to Rock, Hiphop, EDM, 70's all the way to today's hits! During lockdown, he has built quite a following on the Twitch platform.

Charles - Wedding DJ / Radio DJ
With over twenty years of club, wedding, party, school dances, charity, and corporate event experience, Charles (DJ C Rob) entertains every crowd with his charming personality and superb mixing abilities, tailoring each event to fit the needs of that specific crowd. He calls his mixing style “out there” and it ranges anywhere from house to country to top 40 to hip hop and everything in between. This Columbus Ohio native prides himself on reading the crowd and finding the beat which best fits the atmosphere.
Charles DJs more than 300 events each year. He formerly hosted an afternoon radio show on 93.9 Kiss FM in Lima, Ohio (an I Heart Media Inc Station), and a weekend afternoon show on 106.7 The Beat in Columbus. He currently is an on-air personality on Y105 in Mansfield, Ohio.

Gil Diaz has been DJing for over 30 years and is the father and mentor of our longtime DJ, Josh Diaz. Gil started out rocking bars and clubs in his early years, then transitioned into weddings, private parties, and community events. An open-format DJ with a love for Country and early 2000's music, Gil can seamlessly mix across genres to keep the dance floor moving for any crowd. Known for his smooth mic presence and ability to engage guests, he brings both experience and energy to every event. With decades of expertise and a true passion for music, Gil continues to set the standard for what it means to be a professional DJ.
